What’s the difference between AT99 and TZ99 Sayerlack topcoats?

AT99 and TZ99 are both high-performance topcoats, but they vary in finish and application properties. AT99 is water-based & TZ99 is solvent-based. We can help you select the best one based on your specific project requirements.

Can these products be used on all types of wood?

Yes, our joinery coatings and primers are formulated to work across a wide range of interior wood types. For exotic or oily woods, we recommend consulting us for tailored advice.

Are your wood primers available in custom colours?

We offer a range of different primers which can be colour matched using our Colormax technology. Our Aquimax Water-Based Interior Primer can be matched, simply enter the desired colour on the product page and our in-house team will handle the rest.

What sanding products do you recommend for preparation?

We recommend our velcro sanding discs, soft sanding pads and sanding strips for effective surface prep. These help to achieve a smooth base, essential for a flawless finish. We also do a variety of sanding products from Mirka & Sia.

Can I use brush or roller instead of spray application?
